Day 1 - The Beginning

Hello again!!!


So Day 1 is pretty much over.


I started the morning  with the school run..That takes about  15 mins to walk there at a steady pace. Nice and pleasant as it was a gorgeous morning..A little cold but sunny!
I got home and sat down with a Strawberry Slimavite shake at 9am. I must admit, i wasnt overwhelmed by the taste of it at all..Tasted quite powdery. I think once i get used to them,it will be ok!! I would have looked a picture if you had seen me at my first sip!!
After drinking it, i felt full until about 11.30am when i got that familiar peckish feeling. Oh noooooo!!! Normally, i'd have a biscuit or something, but no..i was good, i dashed to the fridge,got some carrots out and made my own carrot sticks.. I nibbled on those and just like that, the feeling went. I think its pyschological really... If you convince yourself you arent hungry, then your body may believe it.


Come lunchtime (about 1.15pm) I decided this would be the meal which id actually eat something rather than have a shake. i had a cheese sandwich on wholemeal bread. I  used a tiny pinch of low fat cheese. I also had two bread sticks (which arent bad as they arent high in fat or salt and were only 20 calories per stick)
After eating this, i was satisfied..I even savoured every little bite like it was my last..Even though it would be til tomorrow lol!


I did quick 15 mins on the wii fit doing some step ups whilst i watched the music channels (the wii remote does the step pattern you follow for the amount of time you have selected..pretty cool cos you havent gotta watch the silly wii animations doing the steps with you) 


Then at 2.30 had a walk to the post office and the school.Even swung me arms some of the way as its apparently good exercise haha!! Noone was around, if they were i so wouldnt have done that :)


I amazed myself.When i got to the shops,i purchased a bottle of water..Yes water!!!!! Not the normal pepsi max i came to love.. Although i will treat myself to a small glass later as this is literally calorie free!


I got that familiar peckish feeling again at around 4pm so had a golden delicious apple. Only a small one but it took away that hunger pang.
I had my dinner shake which was the chocolate one at 6pm. Again, it tasted quite powdery but nicer than the strawberry one :)
So...here we go.. That was today. I have found it quite hard, i wont lie. Ive been craving things like crisps and a choccie biscuit.. Could almost taste them at points lol!!!
The thing thats stopping me from giving in to temptation, is how amazing im going to look when i reach my target weight. Also, ive seen a gorgeous top online that i am so considering buying for when i get rid of the spare rubber lol!


As you have seen, i was good, i stuck to the plan and now im off to do an hour on the wii fit. I am actually in the mood to do some hula hooping..Must remember to shut the curtains..Dont want the neighbours looking in and thinking i have gone mad.
Ill update you in the morning with how that goes!!!
